What Is SP?
SP is basically your ammo count for your Ethereal Weaving attacks. In other words, it’s what makes your wild hand gestures deal damage to the various Visitors around Tokyo. Your current SP is indicated by the numbers next to your elemental attack type in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
Refilling SP in Ghostwire Tokyo
After firing off a bunch of Ethereal attacks, you’ll need to replenish your SP. This is done by killing enemies or by destroying glowing objects that are found throughout the streets and buildings of Tokyo. These are usually things like cars and floating trash cans, so they’re easy enough to spot. The SP that they drop is random, and the color determines the ‘elemental’ type of SP that it’ll restore. For example, a red SP drop will replenish your Fire attacks, blue is Water, and green is Wind. Sometimes, a red drop will actually replenish Fire and another of your elements, so it’s recommended you just pick up any you come across when you need to refill SP in Ghostwire Tokyo. If you are looking out for specific types of SP, there are objects that glow in accordance to each color alongside the ones that give out multiple, so just look out for those.
Increasing Max SP in Ghostwire Tokyo
To increase your max SP, you need to pray to Jizo Statues throughout Tokyo. This will permanently raise your maximum SP for a particular ‘element.’ Each Jizo Statue is aligned with a single element: wind, water, or fire. The color of the banners and decorative objects around the statue reveals what element they’re aligned with. In addition to this, you can improve your elemental attacks’ effectiveness in combat by spending skill points on increasing the damage, radius, and number of shots fired with each burst. While not technically increasing your max SP, it does mean you’re getting more bang for your buck… literally. Combining the two together will make you capable of dealing more attacks before having to replenish SP, and deal more damage with each one.
Getting More Ammo
Not all of Akito’s attacks have to use the supernatural forces at his fingertips. For example, he can use a bow to deal damage with arrows from afar. To get more arrows, you’ll either need to visit the various merchant stores around Tokyo, or look out for quivers propped up against walls and objects throughout the various areas of the city. That’s everything you need to know on refilling SP and getting more ammo in Ghostwire Tokyo. For more tips, tricks and guides, you can click on the links below.
